Mohammad Rezay Haghdoost


Mohammad studied aerospace engineering at the TU Berlin with focus on aerodynamics and turbomachinery. He was a working student at the German Aerospace Center (DLR)  and also at the Institute of Mathematics at the TU Berlin. After graduating, he worked at the Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM) where he worked on CFD simulations for two-phase flow. Since 2017 he works at the TU Berlin within the framework of the Collaborative Research Centre 1029. His research activities focus on combustor-plenum-interactions for pulsating combustion. 

Field of interests:

  • Pressure gain combustion, Pulse Detonation Engine (PDE)
  • Optical measurement techniques (PIV, Schlieren, BOS)
  • Gasdynamics and Detonation
